The dynamic nature of technology has led to the evolution of complexities. This very dynamic nature has kept the various research organizations on their toes while predicting the future in terms of market size and technology popularity. The pace of change is so rapid & the ramification of every new technology advancement is so intricate that it's very difficult for the CIO to keep a track of everything independently.

The last couple of years have seen projected sales figures undergo regular corrections. As the Indian enterprise moves into the global arena it has to take quantum leaps in terms of investment in technology to align with global practices. Coupled with this, state governments are slowly but surely moving on to the e-governance mode resulting in the narrowing down of the digital divide. This has thrown up an opportunity for various technology vendors whether it be PC's, servers, storage, security, enterprise applications, database management software, networking, peripherals etc. Paradigms have shifted and have called for shifts in strategies.

Come March Express Computer, the spokesperson of the Indian IT industry, will step into it's Fourteenth Year. Looking back at our humble beginnings we feel we have come a long way and yet, we consider that the journey is just beginning. While stepping into the fourteenth year, we've chosen to mark our Thirteenth Anniversary issue with a special issue that puts together in one power-packed edition a concise, sector-wise analysis of what's in store for the industry in the coming financial year. This analysis will be both with respect to state of technology, as well as business for that particular segment/category. The issue will also feature the trailblazers in each segment.

The categories are:

  • PC's
  • Servers
  • Storage
  • Security

  • Database Management Software
  • Networking
  • Peripherals (Printers, UPS, Monitors, Scanner etc)
