Dassault Systèmes partners with Persistent Systems

Dassault Systèmes announced a strategic partnership with Persistent Systems to offer integrated Dassault Systèmes solutions based services to customers in key sectors such as Energy, Telecommunications, EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction), Banking & Finance, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare.

As part of the partnership, Dassault Systèmes will be working with Persistent Systems to target India’s companies. Persistent Systems will look at empowering customers and organizations with a paperless 3D world through DS brand Exalead.

Commenting on the partnership, Andy Kalambi, President, South Asia, Dassault Systèmes, said, “Dassault Systèmes is targeting new and emerging sectors and Persistent Systems is the best partner to help us to do so. While traditional sectors such as automotive, manufacturing and aerospace have been core to Dassault Systèmes’ business in India, it is time that we look beyond our horizons and find new territories for propelling our presence in India.”

Adding further on the partnership, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Chairman, CEO and MD, Persistent Systems Ltd. said, “We look forward to leverage our strengths in our core technology areas such as PLM, Cloud, Mobility, BI/Analytics and Collaboration to service Dassault Systèmes’ customers in India and then globally. We also plan to extend this relationship by working as technology partners for Dassault Systèmes’ other brands beyond Exalead.” The relationship is designed to drive increased efficiency and responsiveness for Dassault Systèmes prospective customers and end-users in the Indian market, he added.
