Human Capital Management Software
With the emergence of enterprise-wide solutions such as ERP
in the early 1990s, the stage for Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions was
set. Initially, HCM was one of the offerings that were part of the ERP package.
However, in the last few years, the outsourcing boom and the emergence of new
industries have placed enormous stress on managing HR giving rise to the need
for a core HCM solution.
HCM software helps in streamlining processes, bringing transparency, maintaining
updated employee details and easy scale up as and when required. Adrenalin offers
various HR solutions starting from making a requisition for labor to conducting
interviews, carrying out pre-joining activities, and induction into the company,
to the final stage of exiting. Employees can automate self-service tasks like
applying for leave, appraisals, training needs and others.
Trends in the HCM software space
Automation is the buzzword in the HCM space. Companies are Web enabling the
HR function to get rid of complexities, and boost productivity. IT takes the
complexities out of HR and allows proactive management of human resources. It
also enables the HR team to shift focus from routine and operational functions
and free up time for strategic tasks.

to induction, confirmation, employee self-service and separation. We look at
human capital as the most important resource in an organization that helps business
leaders align human capital to the organizations goals, which is one of the
biggest challenges for any CEO.
Unlike the off-the-shelf ERP solutions, Adrenalin is workflow driven and not
database driven. Therefore, it easily automates business to employee processes
and boosts productivity. We also provide the facility of shift management, which
handles requirements such as defining shifts, defining minimum number of people
to transport requirements for each shift. This feature is useful for manufacturers
and BPO companies.
Go-to-market strategy
We have been catering to businesses in the mid-market segment across 14 industry
verticals in almost all tier I cities with key focus on manufacturing and IT
companies. As for tier II cities where there is a sizeable market, we plan to
reach them through channel partners. We are also using the vendor route to promote
Adrenalin in tier II cities. The major hurdle in adoption when it comes to tier
II cities is the lack of support facilities.
HCM and people management
Adrenalin, as a solution, aims to bring about a high degree of simplicity to
the user and at the same time bringing greater efficiency by automating the
range of HR processes.
Today, HR professionals are required to be strategic partners in managing the
people resources of an organization. In this new role, HR is responsible to
automate key strategic and administrative HR processes, streamline and decentralize
employee services and practices; communicate effectively and transparently,
and provide on-demand reports and analytics.
Recruitment and training
The recruitment process is just the beginning of a new employees experience
with the company. To ensure that the investment the business is making in them

HCM and talent management

Roadmap for this fiscal
This financial year our focus is on global expansion. We also expect traction
from multinational customers in India to adapt the product in their other locations.
With regard to India, we plan to double our customer base and expand to tier
II cities.
