Enable System Restore in Windows Vista
 The
System Restore service is disabled by default in Windows Vista. You may wish
to enable it, as it is a very useful feature if it works for you.
- Click on the “Start” button.
- Right click on “My Computer” and then
click on “Properties”.
- On the left hand side, click “Advanced Settings”.
- If asked to permit the action, click on “Allow”.
- Click on the “System Protection” tab.
- Select the hard drives that you wish to enable System
Restore upon.
- Press Apply. You can now create your first restore
point.
