Enable System Restore in Windows Vista
The
System Restore service is disabled by default in Windows Vista. You may wish
to enable it, as it is a very useful feature if it works for you.
- Click on the Start button.
- Right click on My Computer and then
click on Properties.
- On the left hand side, click Advanced Settings.
- If asked to permit the action, click on Allow.
- Click on the System Protection tab.
- Select the hard drives that you wish to enable System
Restore upon.
- Press Apply. You can now create your first restore
point.
