ECM gains Checkmark anti-spam certification

Rajesh Jain

Netcore Solutions’ product, Emergic Cleanmail (ECM), has been awarded the Checkmark Anti-Spam Premium certification by West Coast Labs, an independent research and test centre. Netcore has become the first Indian company to get anti-spam service recognition. The product was successfully tested and achieved an accuracy rate of 99 percent in spam protection and 100 percent when it came to detecting and protecting an e-mail system from viruses. The product was duly evaluated and it was certified on three specific counts—management/ administration, functionality and performance.

ECM acts as an anti-spam protector, safeguarding mailboxes from spam. Corporates wanting to install ECM and enhance the security, have to register with the technical team at Netcore and provide basic networking details. The product is designed in such a way that it also makes it easy for users to look at the summary of their blocked messages through its Spam Digest. The other key features of ECM are disaster recovery spooling, domain specific whitelists and blacklists and in-depth dashboard reporting.

Netcore Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a venture started by Rajesh Jain in 1998, focuses on providing quality software to Indian businesses. It has a clientèle of over 1,000 companies and is known for its security solutions in e-mail protection.
