Persistent reports profits

The privately owned offshore product development company announced revenue growth of 43 percent for 2006-07. The total revenue during the year was Rs 314 crores. It also reported an increase of 42 percent in its profits to Rs.55 crores with the addition of 64 new customers including Google.

The company’s employee strength now stands at 3,020. In order to scale up its business it has strengthened its management team by bringing on board Srikant Sundararajan as Chief Operating Officer and Raj Sirohi as President of the company. In addition to this, it has also set up a 100 percent subsidiary in Singapore to focus on the APAC region.
