PC access for rural India

Intel has signed a MoU with IL&FS under which it will work to address capacity building, ecosystem enabling and technology support to the 100,000+ ICT enabled CSCs reaching over 650,000 villages across the country. Intel will provide IL&FS education consultancy to identify relevant ICT enabled education programs which can be offered to the community through the CSC and will offer for deployment, the Intel Learn Program, a project-based community development program. The company will also provide IL&FS consultancy services for integrated applications Service Delivery at CSCs, help identify other areas of services and enable ecosystem development. In addition, Intel will offer advisory services for wireless implementation towards a rural broadband program, as requisitioned by IL&FS. The company will also council on hardware requirements for the CSCs and will enable its OEM network to provide solutions and support.
