Codian partners with Actis for video conferencing infrastructure

Actis Technologies Pvt Ltd, an audio visual and environment control solutions provider in India has announced its partnership with Codian, a manufacturer of video conferencing infrastructure products. This alliance has been formed to bring Codian’s video conferencing infrastructure, including its HD MCU 4500 series to India.

The Codian MCU 4500 series is its latest generation and the only line of video conferencing bridges to deliver full-motion high definition (HD) continuous presence conferencing to users with a mix of standard definition and high definition end points. It claims to deliver ten times the performance of other systems in the market.

The Codian product line comprises a full range of video conferencing infrastructure products, including multipoint voice and video bridges (MCU 4200 series and MCU 4500 series), video conferencing recorders (IP VCR 2200 series), video and voice ISDN to IP gateways (ISDN GW 3200 series), large scale media processing chassis (MSE 8000 system) and an advanced management platform for managing conferencing across large organisations (Codian Management platform) Actis has been into designing holistic solutions by putting together equipment for visual and oral communication. These entail large screen displays, sound and conferencing systems and environmental controls (lighting and HVAC), for corporates, government, the education sector and high net worth individuals. With this partnership, Actis will provide its customers with innovative and high-end technologies of Codian along with complete product and after sales support to the customer.

Abhimanyu Gupta, Director, Actis Technologies Pvt Ltd said, “Videoconferencing is fast moving towards becoming the most extensively used mode of communication especially in the corporate setup. With companies having more than one setup, the need for multi party conferencing is a necessity.”
