BI for MAIA
Business
intelligence (BI) is a decision support tool for decision makers.
Sanjay Mehta, CEO, MAIA Intelligence said, CIOs have
an urgent need to roll out BI solutions that fit the operational level environment.
Most CIOs have already implemented the strategic management requirement on the
BI front. They are struggling to find a solution for mass reporting.
MAIA Intelligence focuses on operational BI with mass reporting.
The companys 1Key BI tool talks to and connects to all type of software
irrespective of the backend. Its a client server based reporting tool
which connects to all the databases to generate MIS reports. The product is
developed using Microsoft VB.Net Technology.
It can generate formatted reports which can be further exported
to Excel, HTML, XML etc. 1KEY Query Builder designed is based on Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA) with standard SOA characteristics like Reuse Query, Independent
Query, Coupling, etc.
According to Mehta, 1Key is catering to these needs of the
modern age and competitive business. There are businesses which have got all
the information in the form of data, still they are spending maximum time in
analysing data. It can help to analyse any type of data and derive meaningful
information, resulting into faster, accurate and profitable decision. It also
enables to slice and dice the data and to make it more significant, serving
micro and macro level analysis.
MAIA has recently acquired customers such as Thyrocare a
thyroid testing laboratory, LOK Housing and Construction, Finance and Share
Broking Firm Asit C Mehta and Mercedes. Its customer Pidilite, an FMCG, has
more than 600 1KEY users across India.
Mehta added, We had an overwhelming response from decision
makers in corporate India after showcasing 1KEY at Technology Senate in December
2006. We have got good support from SIs and software consulting companies across
India in servicing client deployments.
MAIAs upcoming new 1KEY Release 3.0 will come with
enhanced data mining capabilities with graphical chart based drill downs to
the lowest data points. For 2007-08 MAIA will conduct six 1KEY BI training events
focused on business user where attendees will learn in depth on BI benefits
and fundamentals.
