Exhibition

Exhibition at the Technology Senate

The technology exhibition which was held at the Technology Senate saw a large gathering of CIOs and IT managers at the stalls. There were seven stalls in all—MAIA, Ernst & Young, Fortinet, Sanovi, Emerson, Yasu Technologies and Cubix Aten

MAIA had on display its 1-key product which is easy to use, maintain and deploy. It has extensive scalability and extensibility; its embedded reporting model enables seamless integration with any application. It enables scalability to meet end-customer requirements, and uses Microsoft .NET technologies. Quick-start wizards for installations, tabular reports, free-style reports, drill-down and drill-through reports, and complex reports with sub-reports are also a part of the 1-key solution. MAIA received a fairly good response from their target customers—the large enterprises. Said Manali Angal, BI Consultant at the company, “We received 95 feedbacks, 120 cards, and about three confirmations for POC (proof of concept).”

Ernst & Young, which were also assisting the Technology Senate, had a ‘Meet the Consultant’ session at the exhibition. They were assisting companies which were looking forward to an initiative on ERP implementation and security set-up. At least 15 to 20 people came up with serious inquiries at the stall.

The Yasu Technologies stall displayed their new Quick Business Rules Management System.

Cubix Micro Systems, the sole distributor of Aten, discussed a range of KVM products at the expo. They had about 135 visitors to the stalls. Their products included Mix Platform LCD KVM switches (with PS2 / USB server connectivity and built-in 15” TFT / KBD and touch pad), and the GN0116 Guardian on Net which enables control of temperature, humidity and other environmental factors in data centres and server rooms.

Emerson came up with its new solution, Adaptive Architecture, through its branding—The Liebert Adaptive Architecture, which is a combination of power, cooling and monitoring technologies that provide mission-critical support across the enterprise. The FortiGate-50A, 60-series, 100, 100A, 200, 200A and 300 model Antivirus Firewalls are all-in-one, real-time network protection solutions. These easy-to-deploy and easy-to-administer systems deliver value and performance for SOHOs, SMBs and branch office applications.

Sanovi presented its enterprise continuity manager, Panaces, at the exhibition.
