Apple’s U2 iPod

Features: Apple’s U2 iPod, based on the fifth generation 30 GB iPod, holds up to 7,500 songs, 25,000 photos, or over 75 hours of video, and features an all-black stainless steel enclosure, red click wheel, and custom-engraved signatures of the members of rock band U2.

It has Apple’s patent-pending Auto-Sync technology that automatically downloads digital music, podcasts, photos, audiobooks, home movies, music videos and television shows onto the iPod and keeps them up-to-date whenever the iPod is plugged into a Mac or Windows computer using USB 2.0. It also integrates with the iTunes Music Store and iTunes digital music jukebox. The U2 iPod has up to 14 hours of battery life for music playback.

Aladdin’s MonitorMagic Server

Features: This is a proactive monitoring and management solution for Windows 2003, 2000, and NT servers, workstations and SNMP-compatible devices. It has reporting capabilities, an integrated report template builder, and generator and distribution systems. Report templates use a free-form architecture where one can use custom SQL queries.

The company says that MonitorMagic helps assess and predict possible stability and performance issues, like when an Exchange server needs a hardware upgrade, or when in-house applications suffer from potential memory leaks. It provides daily/monthly performance trends for servers and network devices.

The server integrates with popular applications such as Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, ISA Server, Veritas Backup Exec, Symantec and McAfee Anti-Virus, Dell OpenManage, Compaq Insight Manager, and IBM Directory.

Lenovo’s 3000 V 100 notebook
