Seagate’s Barracuda 7200.9

Features: Seagate has announced its Barracuda 7200.9 family of internal hard drives. The product is suitable for Serial ATA (SATA) servers, mainstream and high-performance PCs, PC gaming systems and media PCs.

Barracuda 7200.9 family combines up to half-terabyte capacity with 3 Gbit/second SATA throughput and storage technologies such as Native Command Queuing (NCQ).

It automatically configures the drive to either 3 Gbit/second or legacy 1.5 Gbit/second SATA systems and delivers high data density, storing up to 160 GB on a single disk. Seagate’s 3 Gbit/second SATA interface with NCQ supports Intel Hyper-Threading to increase the performance of SATA servers and workstations supporting intensive applications such as financial, engineering or digital media manipulation.

Seagate NCQ provides features such as command reordering, first-party DMA, interrupt aggregation and race-free status return for multi-user system builders.

Additionally, the product comes with CRC data protection, latching cables and snap-in connectors, and thin cables for improved cooling.

Sony’s PSP (Play Station Portable)

Features: Sony’s PSP value pack offers a variety of entertainment options—games, movies, music and enhanced interactivity through WiFi. A key feature of the PSP is its wireless LAN capabilities enabling users to connect to the Internet via a ‘WiFi hotspot’. In the wireless Ad Hoc Mode, up to 16 PSP systems can be connected to each other directly. It comes with a pouch, 32 MB Memory Stick duo, battery pack, headphones with remote control, AC adaptor, wrist strap, cloth and a video/music/game sampler Universal Media Disk (UMD) including several game demos.

Sony’s Web portal for PSP allows PSP owners to view trailers and screenshots from a wide selection of PSP Game, UMD Video and UMD Music titles, as well as accessing the latest software updates and a host of regularly updated competitions, news and features about PSP. In addition to playing music stored on the Memory Stick in MP3, ATRAC 3plus and MPEG-4 AAC format, music videos on UMD music videos will also be available.

Sharp’s Electronic Cash Register XE 202

Features: Sharp’s XE 202 electronic cash registers enable retail outlets to streamline all sales transactions like calculating and recording sales and printing receipt for the customer.

Pinnacle Studio v.10

Features: Pinnacle Studio v.10 enables users to make movies on PCs with effects and transitions in minutes through a three-step process of ‘Capture, Enhance and Share’.

One can ‘Capture’ photos, videos and audio from a wide array of consumer electronic devices—both analogue and digital; enhance and convert them into blockbuster home movies using special effects; and then preserve and ‘Share’ the movies by transferring them on DVD, DV8, on the Web and beyond. Aladdin’s Utilities

Features: Aladdin Multimedia has launched Utilities Invisible Secrets 4, which is able to encrypt files and hide them into other files. With Invisible Secrets 4, file encryption software, one can encrypt and hide files directly from the Windows Explorer and then automatically transfer them by e-mail or via the Internet.

The product comes with several encryption algorithms, a password management solution that stores all your passwords securely and helps create secure passwords. It has an integrated shredder to destroy files and folders beyond recovery, an application locker that allows to protect password for certain applications, a tool that allows you to transfer a password securely over the Internet and a cryptboard that helps to use the program from Windows Explorer.
