TVS-E sets up multi-lingual call centre

TVS Electronics has launched a multi-lingual call centre with state-of-the-art infrastructure in Tumkur, near Bangalore, which will serve customers in the IT and telecom verticals.

With an investment of Rs 2 crore, the centre provides technical support for PCs, peripherals, POS terminals, mobile handsets and other ICT products. It also provides tech support to leading financial institutions in the merchant-acquiring business.

Says G Harikumar, the company’s GM, Business Development, “The call centre offers end-to-end solutions from tech support to online CRM. This service will be available in 12 Indian languages in a phased manner.”

Says Gopal Srinivasan, Director at TVS-E, “We leverage the TVS quality culture to offer best-in-class tech support services to our clients. Our investment in Six Sigma processes gives us the ability to deliver the lowest cost per call to any brand owner.”

Xoriant expands India operations

Xoriant Corporation has announced its expansion plans in India starting with a centre at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. The company wants to consolidate its operations in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune. “We are planning to expand operations in India with investments of about $12 million across three locations,” says Girish Gaitonde, CEO, Xoriant.
