SiNett to leverage its chip design expertise in India
SiNett plans to leverage its design expertise in India. It is working on the
unification of wireless and wired networks through a single chipset, and has
worked on the unified access chip for enterprises in this regard. The unified
chipset will go into products such as edge switches, WLAN switches and appliances.
Says Shiri Kadambi, President & CEO of SiNett, Recent times have
seen a huge growth of wireless in the enterprise segment, and there has also
been growth of wireless clients which are catering to heavy loads on the network.
We have also noticed that wired and wireless LANs have started merging into
a single network with integrated wireless access.
SiNett is primarily carrying out R&D work at its development facility
in Bangalore. It plans to leverage the high-end skill set of this workforce
for developing the software component that goes into the chip.
Intuit opens product development
centre in Bangalore
Intuit Inc has announced the launch of its product development centre in Bangalore.
The centre will be located in a state-of-the-art campus at RMZ Ecospace on Outer
Ring Road. The Indian team will add to the growth of the company by leading
new product initiatives and partnering with the companys North American
developers to expand existing products and services.
