Red Hat updates for FireFox and Thunderbird

Red Hat has issued an update for Mozilla’s FireFox and Thunderbird. This fixes some vulnerabilities which can be exploited to bypass certain security restrictions, conduct cross-site scripting and spoofing attacks, and compromise a user’s system.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in Mozilla 1.7.8, FireFox 1.04, and Camino 0.8.4. Prior versions may also be affected.

Updated packages are available from Red Hat.
