Trend Micro is a leader in network anti-virus and Internet
content security software and services. With business units worldwide, Trend
Micro products are sold through corporate, value-added resellers and managed
service providers, and hence our people require specialised technical, communication
and interpersonal skills. India is a strategically important destination for
Trend Micro, and on our way to acquiring leadership status in India we are aggressively
investing in hiring the best manpower. What do we look for?
Interpersonal skills: At Trend Micro we give utmost importance to an individuals
interpersonal skills. It is essential that there are no ego/attitude problems
within the organisation as the smallest occurrence of either is harmful. In
alignment with our global philosophy, at Trend Micro India too we encourage
our people to constantly innovate and grow.
Communication skills: Communication is the key to success. Whether your communication
is with one person or several hundred, to be effective and get the outcome you
want, a harmonious relationship with the people youre communicating with
is essential. Good written, presentation and soft skills are the ingredients
of successful communication.
Passion for excellence: It is important that an individual possesses the desire
to constantly climb the ladder to success. The desire to excel is highly contagious.
At no point of time would we want our people to feel the pressure. The drive
should be in each individual and not forced upon him or her.
Team spirit: Ours is an extremely competitive industry. Being a part of a team
is a great responsibility. One has to take success as a team and face failures
as a team. An individuals action reflects on the performance on his mates.
Any personal setback is to be kept out of the office and sorted out. The spirit
of a group should make its members want to succeed.
Emotional maturity: Every individual must have a certain level of maturity in
his workplace. One is expected to be always calm and collected, especially in
a sales set-up.
