Sirvisetti’s Rs 10 crore expansion plan

Sirvisetti Global Services, the Indian subsidiary of the US-based Sirvisetti Systems, which is engaged in business automation software products and solutions, has drawn up a Rs 10 crore expansion plan for its Indian operations. As part of the plan, the company will invest on building new infrastructure, strengthening its marketing team, and expanding its product development effort. The company is also setting up its own campus in Hyderabad.

The new 24x7 Global Technical Support (GTS) centre is catering to its customers in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Earlier the global support system was operational from its US office, but has now been shifted to Hyderabad. The eight-member GTS team supports customers through e-mail, phone and mail. Says Amal Sirvisetti, CEO of the company, “We are increasing our headcount from the existing level of 60 to 300. Our own campus will be ready by 2006, by which time we anticipate revenues at $4 million.”

The company currently provides services to 15 customers, and will be adding two more soon.

“We are focussing on large enterprises and planning to enter the Japanese and European markets as part of our expansion plans. Our flagship SOA platform, AppTalk, is under an upgrade exercise. We will come out with a newer 5.x version of AppTalk early next year,” says N Purushotham Reddy, Managing Director, Sirvisetti Global Services.
