Alliance acquires Mensamind

Alliance Consulting Group Associates, the $90 million IT consulting services & solutions provider and a subsidiary of Scientifics Inc has announced that it acquired the Chicago-headquartered Mensamind, a privately owned software development and consulting services firm with operations in Hyderabad. Following the acquisition, Mensamind that was recently appraised at CMM Level-5, has been renamed as Alliance India. It will focus on global delivery of software & product development, and other support services. Alliance Capital envisages about $50 million investment on Hyderabad facility. “Our application outsourcing practice has been in high demand with corporate and ISV clients. The addition of Mensamind gives us the flexibility to do business the way our clients want onsite, offsite, offshore and a blended hybrid of the three,” Anthony Ibarguen, CEO, Alliance Consulting Group said.
