Mukthieshwar Corporation to manufacture TINDU Laptops

After the successful launch of its computer peripherals and home appliances, Mukthieshwar Corporation plans to manufacture TINDU brand laptops in India. Speaking at a press conference in Kochi, Mr Iyer, president of Mukthieshwar Corporation said, “Our next step is to manufacture TINDU laptops. The entire manufacturing will be done in China and will be marketed in India through our distributors." They plan to introduce this latest by the beginning of the next year.

Mukthieshwar Corporation has its branches in Kochi, Chennai and Mumbai, and has a 100% owned office in the Fujian province of China. They are setting up another branch in Shenzhen, the electronic city of China.

The company has an array of products, both in computer and home appliances. In computers it has cabinets, mice, keyboards, webcams, speakers, state-of-the-art anti-virus data protection cards, USB ionisers, etc. Mini refrigerators, car refrigerators, sandwich makers, coffee and tea percolators, rice cookers, etc. are some of their home appliance products. “Out of the above, the new generation of data protection cards and two types of USB ionisers are being introduced in the market for the first time,” Mr Iyer added.

The data protection card, once installed in the computer, will prevent data loss due to a virus attack, hacking or even formatting the protected disk.

The USB ioniser, once connected to the USB port of the laptop or desktop, will draw power from the main board rather than any other external power supply.

Another model of ioniser fits like a CD drive in the computer cabinet, thus giving a better look to the computer. This model is suitable only for desktop computers. It draws power from the computer power supply.

Mr Iyer, who is stationed mostly in China, added, “We are entering the Indian market through Kerala, and the company is concentration on selling quality and modern products in the market but at a rate that is comparable with that of other players in the market.” They are expected to start over 100 exclusive showrooms across Kerala by the end of this year.
