Power S200 is Athlon XP 2600-based, equipped with 128 MB RAM, 40 GB hard disk,
1.44 floppy disk drive and a CD-ROM. The operating system is Linux, and it has
a 15-inch CRT MPR II certified monitor. The Acer Power S100 has an Intel Pentium
4 processor, 2.4 GHz 128 MB RAM, and 40 GB hard disk.
NUMERIC Power Systems has launched Digital 800 Plus, a UPS system that can
support 2 PCs or a high-end multimedia PC with 17" monitor and above. Features
include super-boost AVR for dealing with varying voltage fluctuations, EMI/RFI
suppression, telephone surge protection, smart PC interface, and intelligent
battery management.

its AT-8948 48-port multi-layer switch that yields wire-speed Layer 3 IPv4 and
IPv6 switching performance. The AT-8948, aimed at the triple-play, operator
and metro Ethernet markets, is a switching solution that is ideal for high-end
access in combined video, data and voice applications. The AT-8948 provides
flexibility with AC and DC versions as well as hot-swappable SFP interfaces
on the Gigabit uplink ports which support any combination of Gigabit copper
or fibre for short haul and long haul.

has introduced WD Caviar (R) RAID Edition (RE) hard drives which are designed
and manufactured for server applications such as e-mail, file, video and Web

backup, document image management and engineering data management. Currently
shipping in volume, WD Caviar RE drives are equipped with either Serial ATA
(SATA) or EIDE interfaces and 7,200 rpm spin speed. The drives carry a three-year
warranty and are offered in capacities of 250, 160 and 120 GB. They are available
through Western Digital's distributors Tech Pacific and Priya Ltd. Estimated
street pricing for WD Caviar RE 250 GB capacity with SATA interface (model WD
