CHiPS joins TCS-CA’s Trust Network to issue digital certificates

Circuit EC / Hyderabad

Tata Consultancy Services-Certifying Authority (TCS-CA), a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) service provider announced that Chhattisgarh Infotech and Biotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) has joined hands with them to become a digital certificate issuing authority. CHiPS is the nodal agency promoting IT and implementing IT plans in the state. TCS-CA is licensed by the Controller of Certifying Authorities, India (CCA) to issue legally valid digital certificates.

TCS-CA has extended its secure services to organisations across various industry domains such as banking, financial services, telecom, B2B, and government. As a member of the Trust Network, CHiPS will act as an issuing authority to issue digital certificates to the government and citizens of Chhattisgarh. With this association, CHiPS will issue and manage digital certificates, which will be extensively used for end-to-end digitisation of G2C initiatives in Chhattisgarh.
