Supertron Electronics to market Vintron PC

Circuit EC / Kolkata

Kolkata-based Supertron Electronics has acquired the exclusive marketing and manufacturing rights of ‘Vintron’ brand of PCs. The nine-year old company distributes IT products & services in the country. The company has business alliances with several international brands such as Intel, Seagate, LG, Canon, Microsoft, Mercury and Acer.

Speaking to Express Computer, V K Bhandari, managing director, Supertron Electronics said, “Supertron has recently acquired the exclusive marketing and manufacturing rights of ‘Vintron’ brand of PCs under a licensing agreement. The tie-up will give us an edge in the branded PC market in the country.”

“It will help us position ourselves as a distribution company as well as a company that manufactures and markets a popular PC brand,” he said.

The ISO 9001:2000 certified company has two manufacturing units in the country, one in Delhi and the other in Kolkata and a sales & marketing network comprising 15 branch offices across India.

Besides, targeting the corporate segment, we will be focusing on the home segment in a big way, said a senior company official. Supertron’s revenues touched Rs 126 crore in the last fiscal.
