launched the U4-136, a compact, lightweight and powerful digital projector.
The product has a Compact Flash card slot for a PC-less presentation. By pre-loading
images into a compact flash card, one can run a stand-alone presentation without
hooking up to a PC. The product weighs just 1.5 kg and it features a new generation
DMD chip, an improved colour wheel and light engine, and a newly-designed lamp
which the company says allows a presenter to project a clear image even amidst
bright light.

iPod reloaded
APPLE has
introduced the latest generation of the iPod in India. The product features
Apple’s patent-pending Click Wheel, which combines the scrolling of a touch-sensitive
wheel with five push-buttons for effective one-handed navigation. The new iPod
features up to 12 hours battery life and Shuffle Songs, a new command in the
main menu that gives users instant access to their music library. The product
also features Apple’s patent-pending Auto-Sync technology that automatically
downloads an entire digital music library onto the iPod and keeps it up-to-date
whenever it is plugged into a Mac or Windows-computer using FireWire or USB.
Users can transfer two songs per second from their Mac or Windows computer.
The new 20 GB iPod model costs Rs 22,100 and a 40 GB model is available for
Rs 27,400. Both include earbud headphones, 1.2m 30-pin FireWire cable, a 1.2m
30-pin USB cable, and a CD with iTunes 4.6 for Mac and Windows computers. The
40 GB model also includes an iPod dock.

advanced photoscale technology and high resolution control for fine printing.
Network connectivity ensures an easy-to-use-interface with built-in password
protection preventing unauthorised users from changing print server settings.
The duplex printing feature automatically prints on both sides of the paper.
