SEAGATE has announced the introduction of a 5-year warranty on every Seagate internal PC, notebook and enterprise hard-drive shipped through its distribution and retail channels throughout the world.

Reliance Infocomm has launched India’s first MPLS Global VPN service in association with MCI. The agreement lets Reliance Infocomm offer its business customers global MPLS-based VPN connections by leveraging MCI’s global network infrastructure.

HCL Infosystems taps e-governance for PC business
HCL Infosystems sees e-governance projects as a key enabler for its PC business in 2004. The company is working on some large e-governance projects with the governments of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Texas Instruments expands its Indian operations
Texas Instruments (TI) has opened its new campus in Bangalore as part of its expansion plans. The new facility is aimed at enhancing and consolidating its chip development activities in India.
