  DELL
has launched two new corporate desktop computer systems, the SX 280 and the
GX 280. Both are powered by Intel Pentium 4 processors (of the 5xx family) and
the 915G Express chipset. The new platform also includes PCI-Express (three
times the input/output bandwidth of PCI) and Serial ATA hard-drives.

HP LaserJet 3030 All-in-One
HP has recently launched the HP LaserJet 3030 All-in-One, a multi-function device
that provides laser printing, flatbed copying and colour scanning. It can copy
at up to 15 pages per minute with an output resolution of 1,200 dpi.

Acer Aspire RC 950
Acer Veriton 7700 G
ACER has launched the Acer Aspire RC 950 consumer PC and
the Acer Veriton 7700 G commercial desktop, both based on the latest Intel 915
G Express Chipset. The Acer Aspire 950 features an Intel Pentium 4 processor
with 512 MB RAM expandable to 2 GB, 160 GB HDD, 7-in-1 card reader, DVD SuperMultiPlus
drive, built-in Gigabyte Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000, modem, wireless keyboard
and mouse.
The Acer Veriton 7700 G also features an Intel Pentium 4
processor with up to 4 GB of DDR 400 memory, 160 GB HDD and integrated graphics
with DVMT 3.0. It also has two PS/2 ports, a 9-pin serial port, a 15-pin parallel
port, eight USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet (RJ-45) port, VGA/video port, and front-accessible
audio jacks. In addition, it comes with software utilities such as Acer LANScope,
Norton AntiVirus, Acer Desktop Management and Personal Setting Migration.

12 new disk drives
  SEAGATE
has launched an array of disk drives targeting a wide range of applications
including MP3 players, DVRs, notebooks, PCs, servers and corporate data centres.
These include a 1-inch 5 GB hard drive and solutions in 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch
form factors, featuring technology such as Serial ATA, Serial Attached SCSI
and fibre channel interfaces with speeds up to 15,000 rpm and storage capabilities
of up to 500 GB. The products include ST1 Series, DB 35 Series, Barracuda 7200.8,
NL35 Series, Momentus 5400.2 and 7200.1, Cheetah 15K.4, Cheetah 10K.7, and Seagate
Compact Flash Photo Hard Drive.
