Digicams: DC 3400, DC C30, DC C40

BENQ has launched DC 3400, a 2 mega-pixel digital camera which comes in five colours—red, blue, white, silver and champagne. The camera supports the AVI format and has 8 MB of built-in flash memory. The company has also launched the 3 mega-pixel DC C30 and the 4 mega-pixel C40 equipped with 3X optical zoom and a 1.6” LCD screen with 80,000-pixel resolution.

PCS Industries

PCS iigen

PCS Industries has launched ‘PCS iigen’, a PC targeted at the home and SOHO segment. It has a 7,200 rpm 80 GB hard disk, 128 MB RAM and is powered by a Pentium-4 processor with hyper-threading. A 17-inch monitor, a full multimedia kit that includes a headset and a mike, two Altec Lansing speakers with one subwoofer and a PCS Game Pad with vibrator round out the specs.

XML XiIIIPlus

ZEBRA Technologies has launched an XML-enabled XiIIIPlus on-demand barcode label printer targeted at manufacturing and supply chain applications. As XML is becoming the standard for business-to-business transactions and is gaining use in EDI, ERP and manufacturing systems, an XML-enabled printer offers better inter-operability when integrated into most ERP systems. These printers help companies reduce costs for middleware, licencing, print-server hardware, administration and programming.
