HP has launched an entry-level server, the HP Integrity rx4640, that can scale
up to eight processors. It is powered by the HP mx2 dual processor module consisting
of two Intel Itanium 2 processors and 32 MB of Level 4 cache, and the HP zx1
Chipset. The server provides an in box update to the next generation Itanium
2 processor that lets a user leverage his current investment to achieve higher
performance. The HP Systems Insight Manager provides a single point of administration
across all operating systems supported on HP Integrity servers and is available
in a compact rack-dense design.

has launched an application called WEB2SMS that lets a company send personalised
SMS to an unlimited number of mobile phones. The application can be installed
on a local LAN or Web server, and is connected through a SMS Gateway or a GSM
modem. It includes features such as address book that can store the entire contact
list, and lets corporates allocate quotas for users, and prepare entire reports
on the delivery status of an SMS.
