Intoto India develops ‘IntruPro’ IPS solution

CIRCUIT EC / Hyderabad

Intoto Software India, the R&D arm of US-based Intoto Inc, has developed an intrusion prevention system (IPS) based upon its patent pending and application-aware Inline IPS technology.

The Hyderabad-based subsidiary of Intoto Inc is a provider of integrated security, wireless, and voice software platforms to networking equipment manufacturers.

The new product ‘IntruPro’ offers greater intrusion detection accuracy for reduced false positives and higher performance than traditional intrusion detection systems (IDS) and IPS approaches. The IntruPro solution integrated in a security appliance from Infnis Inc. was demonstrated at the Networld+Interop tradeshow in Las Vegas.

IntruPro has an integrated IPS sensor, and a complete management application, signature updates and a certification service.“The IntruPro solution was designed and developed by our team of engineers at Intoto Software India, which has been playing a strategic and successful role in new product roll-outs,” said Sathyan Iyengar, president and CEO of Intoto Inc.

The solution can be integrated into any security appliance architecture. To speed time to market, the IntruPro sensor has been pre-integrated with embedded operating systems as well as many popular processors.
