Zebra trains channel partners to enable local warranty service

Zebra Technologies Europe, a leading provider of barcode and RFID technology, recently concluded its first training program for Indian partners in Mumbai. This programme called Zebra Approved Service Provider (ZASP), provides first hand training to the company’s Indian channel partners’ service personnel, for service maintenance and repair of Zebra products in India. According to Marius Kahan, the trainer from Zebra Technologies, training is of utmost importance for companies aiming at professional servicing of Zebra printers, as it will enable the partners to provide warranty repairs locally. The programme aims at helping partners enhance the value of Zebra printers. The curriculum includes a full range of subjects, including thermal printing technology and media and ribbon selection.

The training is expected to provide better and quicker service to Zebra’s local end users within India, minimising the costs of return material authorisation (RMA), and local out of warranty service, which may be needed. The Zebra partners attending this event are ESSAE Technologies, Intellicon, Barcode India, Scan InfoTech, and Technowave.
