C3i opens Hyderabad centre

CIRCUIT EC / Hyderabad

The US-based C3i Inc—a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, business consulting, systems implementation and outsourced managed services to the pharmaceutical industry, has announced the commencement of operations at its Hyderabad development and BPO centre. This centre will work in tandem with its facility in the US to support the sales forces of pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Hyderabad centre is the first centre out of the US and the company is planning to invest about $7 million in the first year itself. The current headcount at the new facility located in Vanenburg IT Park Phase-2 is 50 and is expected to double by June and increase to 300 by the end of the year.

“We have chalked out a growth plan for the Hyderabad centre. Re-engineering the existing business will add several hundred jobs and for the expanding CRM services business and pharma BPO operations, we are considering taking additional space. Our US facility has about 500 employees. We will also re-engineer the US operations, which will reduce the headcount to 375 and thereby adding more jobs to the Hyderabad centre. We anticipate a 50 percent growth over the next 18 months. The 90-seater new facility will enable the company to provide 24/7 services to our clients by taking advantage of the time zone difference,” Joel Morse, president and CEO of Ci3 said.

The Hyderabad facility will handle inbound calls from clients in the US and also help the US team in implementing Siebel solutions. It provides CRM solutions and e-business implementation developed on Siebel for its clients. It is a consulting partner of Siebel Systems. C3i has other facilities in New York, Morristown, New Jersey and Denville.
