Symphony brings high-end technology outsourcing to India

Symphony Services, a technology-based business transformation outsourcing (BTO) service provider offering software development (product design) capabilities will leverage its offshore delivery model to help reduce product development cost for its clients.

Dr Romesh Wadhwani, chairman, Symphony Services said, “Our vision is to take technology to the next level, delivering high-value software product development work, which can not only reduce product development cost but also help increase customer satisfaction and expand services.” Symphony’s aim is to create significant value for its customers by delivering world-class products and services from Bangalore. As part of its global delivery model, in addition to product development, Symphony Services will be offering solutions in the enterprise application space, especially in supply chain, CRM and business intelligence (BI). Its advanced analytics service will offer in-depth marketing research regarding prospective customers.

The company plans to increase its current employee base from 650 to 2,000 by FY 2004 to strengthen its technology centre in Bangalore. Over the next three years, Symphony Services plans to spend $100 million in India to support its expansion plans.
