Seagate unveils CE hard drives

Seagate, a player in the hard drives space has launched its consumer electronics (CE) hard drives, specifically catering to the digital content space. The company has recently shipped its CE hard drive to eight of the world's leading digital video recorder (DVR) device makers: Toshiba, Thomson, Sony, Pioneer, Pace, Nokia, Motorola and Echostar. Seagate's new CD hard drives are the industry's first to implement the new ATA standard streaming command set adopted by the T-13 committee as the new industry standard.
