Knowledge Systems, a provider of communications and Internet solutions acquired Questech, an Internet solutions company, in a cash and swap deal worth $1.25 million. This move by Knowledge Systems is aimed at accelerating its growth and adding to its technical strengths. The acquisition will help both companies leverage their market reach. Questech specialises in the areas of manufacturing, retail and distribution, logistics, healthcare and insurance. The company does offshore software development and offers Internet-based solutions such as BeforeSales. Knowledge Systems specialises in next-generation networks, embedded systems, data and telecommunications and Internet infrastructure. As a combined entity the company is aiming to generate $20 million in annual revenues by 2006.
