LG Mobile, one of the largest CDMA terminal manufacturers in the world, has introduced the RD 7130 CDMA phone in India. The stylish, folder type RD 7130 on a 3G1X platform offers unique features such as organics electro Luminescence, 65000 colour TFD LCD, 12-line display, 40 polyphonic sounds, 1000-entry phone book and PC sync. The RD7130 has dual LCD and is also Java-enabled. Targeted at the premium segment, the RD 7130 is available at all Reliance outlets.

TASSecure Mailbox

The Argon Company, which is in the business of delivering GNU/Linux-based network management services and solutions, has launched the TASSecure Mailbox service. The key feature of this product, security, manifests itself through virus protection at the mail server level. With the TASSecure Mailbox, a user doesn’t have to worry about receiving a virus-infected e-mail; any such e-mail is rejected at the server level and not permitted to enter the mailbox. E-mail notifications are sent to the user and to the sender of the e-mail, intimating both parties of the unsuccessful delivery of that e-mail, because of its virus contamination. The Argon Company is currently offering interested users a free, month-long evaluation of TAS-Secure.

Features:

Quantum has annou-nced the availability of second generation LTO tape drives for its line of automated tape libraries and availability of LTO-1 and LTO-2 in its award-winning ATL SuperLoader autoloader. M-Series tape libraries

Tandberg Data Asia has expanded its storage product portfolio with the new Tandberg M-Series tape libraries. The new Tandberg M1500 and M2500 automated tape libraries claims to provide the highest density, scalability and flexibility in its class. The scalability of the M-Series (both M1500 and M2500) is unmatched in that the library doesn’t have to be re-built, shipped to the manufacturer or taken offline in order to add modules. The Tandberg M-Series libraries also boast of the greatest density per rack space in this class of tape library leaving valuable rack space available in the data-centre for other IT infrastructure.

The M1500 can be combined and shared with M2500 modules in the same rack via StackLink, scaling across the entire product line for a lower total cost of ownership. With StackLink, the M1500 library can be expanded from 1 to 20 drives (up to 1.2 TB/hour native performance) and up to 250 cartridge slots (or 33.6 TB native capacity). The Tandberg M2500 library can expand from 2 to 18 drives (up to 1.03 TB/hour native performance) and up to 300 cartridge slots (or 40.3 TB native capacity) all seen by the backup software package as a single library.

Individual modules can be added or removed while other modules remain online and operational. If a single module fails, other libraries in the stack continue to operate without intervention. Hot-swappable and hot-pluggable components, including tape drives and power supplies with integral fans, provide fast and easy, non-disruptive repairs and upgrades. Tandberg M-Series tape libraries are fully compatible with major hardware platforms, such as IBM, HP, DEC, Sun, and Silicon Graphics, and are supported by nearly 40 popular data management software applications. The M-Series is now available for purchase throughout the Tandberg Data’s distribution and reseller network in Asia Pacific.

The reader can handle document output formats like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF, CSV, HTML, DBF and Text. The solution provides full HTML Support. With HTML CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) extension capabilities, FineReader can replicate your paper documents in HTML format, maintaining exact layouts. Batch document support provides the tools needed to work with multipage documents.
