Netpro to go international with Tentacle

Stanley Glancy / Mumbai

K R Venkataraman

Netpro, a Pune-based products company, focused solely on Microsoft’s .Net technology, has announced the availability of Tentacle—its first product. Based on the .Net platform, Tentacle is a contact management solution targeted at the financial services sector. Said K R Venkataraman, director-international marketing, Netpro Technologies, “The product has been developed by our internal team, which has deep .Net expertise. The initial version is targeted at the rapidly growing insurance segment. But we will soon be expanding our reach into other verticals.”

Instead of going the channel way as it had previously done with other products in its kitty Netpro is looking at marketing Tentacle directly, both in the domestic as well as the international market. To expand its reach in the domestic market the company is setting up offices both in Delhi as well as Bangalore, the country’s IT capital. Netpro is also planning to hit the international market after it has made its presence felt in the domestic market.

The company is also bullish on the SME segment, with its other products including ProClarity and Altiris, both built on the .Net platform. Netpro will leverage its direct marketing presence as well its channel partners to market these products both in the country and abroad.
