HandySoft, Datamatics to offer BPM

Stanley Glancy / Mumbai

HandySoft has entered into a strategic alliance with Mumbai-based Datamatics Technologies to offer BizFlow, its business process management (BPM) platform in India. Said Linus Chow, regional director for HandySoft, “Today, efficient management of data and BPM has become crucial to businesses. BPM gives organisations total control and visibility into the management of people, systems and business environment. This further enables a company to reduce operating costs, reduce errors and improve processes.” Analysts predict that by 2005 at least 90 percent of large enterprises will have BPM in their enterprise nervous system.”

HandySoft offers customers a scalable engine to handle large-scale projects. Another key attraction is the company’s six-sigma programme. Six sigma, according to Chow, is credited with saving billions of dollars for companies over the past decade. “Our solutions offer organisations 25-70 percent return on investment (RoI) depending on the complexity of the project and the amount of waste reduction in terms of errors and paper wastage,” he said.

HandySoft will be catering to data dependant industries like insurance, banking, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing as data sorting, data access and timely availability of important information is of key importance to these sectors. Chow believes that the market for BPM is as large as the market for ERP”.
