Your recent ‘Infrastructure special’ issue has focussed on the IT pockets in our country. The maps, and the attractive layout gives the entire issue a good look and feel. Apart from hardcore infrastructure stories, the story on bandwidth issue was also interesting. Overall, a very informative issue.

— Ashish Gupte

The cover story in the May 5, 2003 issue of IT PEOPLE gave valuable information on how employees could take necessary precautions to prevent the leakage of information and could treat their information as an asset. I am in full agreement with Captain Raghu Raman, who, in the article, acknowledged the lack of training employees on security aspects. The clear threat of information being misused is growing and we should equip ourselves to tackle this ever-present problem.

I read the article ‘CKO/CLO: The new age change managers’, in IT People of Express Computer issue dated April 21, 2003. I really liked the concept and I fully agree with you that it is the need of the hour.

Kudos for the article on ‘CKO & CLO: The new age change managers’, that has appeared in the April 21, 2003 issue of IT People. The article was concise, precise and really brought out the essence of both knowledge management and training/learning functions in IT companies. Congratulations once again for such an informative article.

The article ‘Digital certificates are here to stay’, (April 14, 2003) covered the entire aspect of the digital certificate scenario in India. But while it’s true that the technology holds huge potential in India, it is also a fact that in this country individuals are still not very sure of anything that has to do with the Internet. The whole attitude has to change before the technology can pick up in India.
