$120 million boost for SAP
In order to increase its share in the enterprise software market in India, SAP plans to spend over $120 million over the next three years through its Indian subsidiary, SAP India.

Biggies vie for AP project
Wipro Infotech, HCL Infosystems, Pioneer Online and Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL) are among the 12 companies which have been shortlisted by the Andhra Pradesh government to implement the conversion of existing STD/PCO booths in semi-urban and rural areas into service delivery points (SDP) or Internet/VoIP kiosks.

HCL Tech plans fourth BPO centre
HCL Technologies is planning to set up its fourth BPO facility in Pune or Chandigarh by 2004. The company proposes to set up a 500-seat centre with an investment of $7.5-$10 million.

BT hands $160 mn deal to HCL Technologies
HCL Technologies has bagged a $160-million five-year contract in the business process outsouring (BPO) space from British Telecom (BT).
