Optimal product line, Compuware Corporation said, Optimal
J is a tool designed to accelerate development, deployment and design
of J2EE applications without entering the complexities of the J2EE
architecture. The product simplifies the deployment of J2EE-based
applications and improves developer productivity through pattern-based
automatic code generation. Its modelling approach and architecture
layers simplify application maintenance. Future developments around
the product are expected to revolve around Java, J2EE and on patterns
and modelling. The product is aimed at companies working towards
improved business integration frameworks.
The Uniface product line is a component-based
development environment to build and integrate advanced e-commerce
applications. Through solutions like Uniface Jti and Web application
server, Compuware has helped some of its global clients like BMW,
BASF, BP Oil, and BEA Systems to create real business value in their
IT investments, said Wirth.
