Microtek
Online UPS System
Microtek International has launched its range of “designed with intelligence” online UPS systems. The systems are designed on double conversion PWM technology with transient response as low as 2 percent due to inductive/capacitive load. The switching used are third generation IGTBs (insulated gate bipolar transistors), which have high switching speed of 20 kHz and very high power handling capacity.

The waveform of the solution is pure Sinewave on full load, with very low THD (transient harmonic distortion). The systems have been designed with synchronised static bypass, which ensures complete safety of data even in the case of failure of inverter. These systems also use PBT (pulse blanking technology) to protect switching devices during transient loading of the UPS system.
