Abee Info Consumables, a player in the IT consumables space, has ventured into the services segment with the launch of its new scheme, Dial-an-Easy-fill. This scheme allows a customer to get a used cartridge filled at the doorstep at a cost of around Rs 250. At present, the company is implementing this concept in Pune only. But going forward, it plans to implement this service across the nation in a phased manner. Also on the anvil is a series of seminars and exhibitions targeted at end users.

The company has also extended its refill cartridge concept to the inkjet printer segment as well, under the brand name, EasyFill. It may be recalled that in the mid 90’s the company had introduced refill ribbons for dot matrix printers, called Abeefill.

B B Somani, managing director of Abee Info Consumables said, “Just like we did for dot matrix printer users, we have now created a solution for inkjet printer users as well. Any user can buy ‘EasyFill’ off the shelf and fill his inkjet cartridge himself”
