Zip 750MB drive

Personal storage vendor, Iomega, has recently launched the Iomega Zip 750 MB USB 2.0 drive. This is the highest capacity Zip drive ever from the Iomega product stable. This added capacity in the Zip 750 MB disks will enable a user to store as much as a CD-ROM and more, and is equivalent to 520 floppies.

Zip 750MB is both PC and Mac compatible. It is also capable of transferring data at up to 8MB per second.

ccording to its developers, its 50x50x50 read/write/rewrite speed makes it one of the fastest portable devices currently available. The product uses a USB2.0 connection to enable faster transfer of data via a single cable to the PC. However, the version is compatible with systems, which use USB1.1. The new Zip 750MB disk is robust and scratch resistant, making it more durable than previous versions.
