Hanut Extra-Deep Server Cabinets

Jaipur-based Hulasi Metals has recently launched Hanut “Extra-Deep” Server cabinets that allows IT managers and CTOs to maintain servers and other IT hardware in a consolidated, systematic and secure manner. They also significantly improve space utilisation and simplify cable management.

These cabinets provide physical security and help prevent unauthorised access to critical IT equipment. By enabling companies to keep multiple servers in a consolidated, systematic and secure manner, server cabinets optimise space utilisation and cable management. They enhance the manageability, serviceability, security and reliable functioning of servers and other IT equipment.

Hanut Extra-Deep server cabinets are designed to best meet the rack installation and housing requirements of rack-mountable servers and other IT equipments like switches, NAS, and hubs. Hanut server cabinets are 900 mm deep (against 900 mm deep cabinets available in the market) and are therefore ready for even the deepest servers. Extra depth also allows more space for routing cables thus enhancing cable management. Front to back server grade ventilation is ensured with ‘airmax’. There is a 64 percent perforated area between the front and rear door.

Surecom has launched new wireless series, the EP-9320/EP-9427 11 Mbps Wireless LAN PCI/PCMCIA LAN Card. It supports data rate to 11 Mbps, 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps and 1 Mbps over the Ethernet speed. It automatically falls back to lower data rate under noisy environment using DSSS (direct-sequence spread spectrum) technologies for immunity to interface. It is IEEE 802.11b direct sequence high rate compatible. High-speed wireless connection up to 11 Mbps. It also has 40-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption function, with a built-in PCB patch diversity antenna support.

The EP-9500 11 Mbps Wireless Access Point links computers equipped with Wireless LAN PCMCIA Card/USB Adapter to Ethernet network. The device opens network resources to temporary workgroups and mobile users easily and efficiently with greater throughput than other wireless LAN solutions. Network access to hard-to-wire areas such as factory floors and shipping and receiving departments is simplified with the installation of this Access Point.
